Three Rivers Market, a food co-op that specializes in organic and local foods has found a much larger home, but remains with-in the inner city. Financial assistance from the City of Knoxville Community Development Department, and CapitalMark Bank and Trust, proved to be a great catalyst in purchasing the Merita Bakery building on North Center. Along with remodeling for a sit down cafe, the co-op will increase their retail space three and a half times, going from 2,000 to 7,000sf. The Happy Holler corridor is already a focus of the city and local developers, this will surley be another great addition for the area. Thank you food co-op.
